Natural killer (NK) cells are the immune system’s first responders the body’s first line of defense with the natural ability to find and eliminate cells that can lead to infections and diseases. In the Ntrust clinical research study program, NK cells are collected from healthy donors and engineered to target and eliminate other cells that can lead to autoimmune disease. We call this investigational cell therapy NKX019. It is currently being evaluated in the Ntrust clinical research study program to assess safety and activity.
