What are natural killer (NK) cells?

NK cells are a normal part of the immune system. They are often the body’s first line of defense with the natural ability to find and eliminate cells that can lead to infections and diseases. In the Ntrust℠ clinical trial program, NK cells are collected from healthy donors and engineered to target and eliminate other cells that can lead to autoimmune disease. We call this investigational product NKX019. NKX019 is currently being evaluated in the Ntrust℠ clinical trial program to assess safety and activity.
